Join over 200 artists at the Sawdust for our annual Hawaiian Surf Day this Saturday, July 9. Find Hawaiian Surf-themed art and craft projects, live entertainment, drink specials and more.
Art & Craft Projects
Daily from 10 am - 5 pm
Art and craft classes are offered everyday during the summer festival. Featured classes on Hawaiian Surf Day include:
"Hawaiian Sea Jellies" at the Children's Art Spot, 10:30 am-12:30 pm
"Painting Hawaiian Themes" with Sawdust Artist Karen Hedges at the Sawdust Studio, 10:30 am-12:30 pm
"Sea Turtle" at the Children's Art Spot, 1-3 pm
"Paint a Surfer Woody" at the Sawdust Studio, 1-3 pm
"Air-dry Clay Surfboard" at the Children's Art Spot, 3:30-5:30 pm
"Hawaiian Seascape" at the Sawdust Studio, 3:30-5:30 pm
Sawdust Saloon Specials
Hawaiian Surf Day specials at the Sawdust Saloon include the following $4 drafts (16 oz.):

Weekly Wine Wednesdays
The Sawdust Saloon is excited to launch this year's "Weekly Wine Wednesdays" featuring a special varietal every Wednesday from 5-8 pm. Come to the Sawdust Saloon to taste next Wednesday's featured wine: Arrowood Chardonnay "Sonoma County" for $8. A complimentary taste of the featured wine will be poured for wine purchasers.
Hawaiian Surf Day Entertainment
We've hired a talented mix of Hawaiian Surf bands to tie in the theme! On the entertainment schedule for Saturday, July 9 are the following entertainers:
"Aloha Radio" on the Main Entertainment Deck, 12-4:30 pm
"The Surftones" at the Tavern Stage, 5-9:30 pm
"The Eliminators" on the Main Entertainment Deck, 5:30-9:45 pm
Sawdust Studio Art Classes
Introducing GIRLS' NITE OUT!
A new addition to Sawdust Studio Art Classes! We are happy to announce the art class series "Girls' Nite Out" - seven balmy summer Monday nights, seven varied jewelry, glass and ceramics classes, seven professional artist instructors.
These Sawdust Studio Art Classes are Monday evenings from 6-8 pm starting Monday, July 11:
This is a great opportunity to spend a convivial evening with your gal friends and make a unique art piece to wear or to share. Cost for the evening of fun is $95, which includes admission to the Sawdust and a free beverage at the Sawdust Saloon.
