HOW
TO REQUEST AN EXHIBITOR APPLICATION
Both the Summer Show and
Winter Fantasy at the Sawdust Art Festival are fine art and craft
shows for individual artists to exhibit and sell their original, handmade
art or craft. As a non-profit, the Sawdust Corporation is dedicated
to educating the public about art; exhibitors are expected to fulfill
that goal by demonstrating their art/craft and/or teaching art classes
to the public. Art media accepted (but is not limited to) includes:
ceramics, art glass, sculpture, jewelry (NO strung beads),
painting/drawing, textile/fiber/clothing design, photography, woodworking,
musical instruments, leathercraft and metalwork.
NOTE:
The Summer 2008 show is filled. We are no longer accepting applications.
To receive an exhibitor application,
submit a written request. Follow the instructions below and note the
deadline dates.
Winter
2008: There
are no residency requirements for the Winter Fantasy, however you
must exhibit and be present all 9-days of the show. Show dates are:
November 22 & 23, 28, 29 & 30 and December 6 & 7, 13 &
14; Open 10 a.m.-6 p.m., rain or shine. Applicants are also required
to present and demonstrate their art or craft for approval.

Winter applications will be mailed in June and are due no later than
Friday, August 1, 2008. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Summer
2009: Summer
exhibitors must be full-time residents of Laguna Beach. If you are
an artist or craftsperson who has lived in Laguna Beach since November
2007 you may request an application for the Summer Show. (Business
or gallery addresses and P.O boxes are not accepted)

Completed Summer applications are due December 8, 2008; NO EXCEPTIONS.
All fees and requirements
are provided in your application packets. Incomplete applications
will be refused, so carefully read all information.
